Luz De Denver

Thanks to the popularity of 2016’s temporary art installation, Wings of Mexico, the Riverfront Park Community Foundation provided funds for the permanent installation of a metal wing sculpture in the plaza. Dubbed Luz de Denver (“Light of Denver”), the sculpture aligns with the Millennium Bridge and the 16th Street corridor and encourages residents and passersby to engage with art in their everyday spaces.

The sculpture was installed in the plaza in Riverfront Park in January 2019, just on the west side of the Millennium Bridge.
