A MILE IN MY SHOES
A Mile in My Shoes, part of The Empathy Museum, is a pop-up art project right here in Downtown Denver. Located right next to the Triangle Building (1550 Wewatta Street), it is a traveling, one-of-a-kind, free museum that allows visitors to literally take a walk in someone else’s shoes, all the while listening to an audio story about that person’s life.
A Mile in My Shoes is part of the Biennial of the Americas, a multi-national festival taking place in Denver in September 2019, all focused on the theme of “Empathy in Action”. The pop-up exhibit will be on display through September 27, 2019. See details here.
