The Red Forest

In 2010, the Riverfront Park Community Foundation funded the installation of The Red Forest, a vibrant art piece by Australian artist Konstantin Dimopoulos. Featuring numerous clusters of bright red “reeds”, the piece creates an interactive urban forest at the base of the Millennium Bridge. It also integrates a series of spotlights that create a dramatic effect at night.

The piece was awarded the title of “Best New Public Art, 2011” by Denver Office of Cultural Affairs and Westword Magazine.
